From 6eec4ab323b2ccdf8d348474dc4c4f074b71466a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Gilles Peskine Date: Mon, 21 Oct 2019 19:06:33 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Asan make builds: avoid sanitizer recovery Some sanitizers default to displaying an error message and recovering. This could result in a test being recorded as passing despite a complaint from the sanitizer. Turn off sanitizer recovery to avoid this risk. --- tests/scripts/all.sh | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/tests/scripts/all.sh b/tests/scripts/all.sh index 3204464c8..91b326ec8 100755 --- a/tests/scripts/all.sh +++ b/tests/scripts/all.sh @@ -138,7 +138,7 @@ pre_initialize_variables () { fi # CFLAGS and LDFLAGS for Asan builds that don't use CMake - ASAN_CFLAGS='-Werror -Wall -Wextra -fsanitize=address,undefined' + ASAN_CFLAGS='-Werror -Wall -Wextra -fsanitize=address,undefined -fno-sanitize-recover=all' # Gather the list of available components.
