<h1>PERMUTATIONA Function</h1>
<p>The <b>PERMUTATIONA</b> function is one of the statistical functions. It is used to return the number of permutations for a given number of objects (with repetitions) that can be selected from the total objects.</p>
<p>The <b>PERMUTATIONA</b> function syntax is:</p>
<p style="text-indent: 150px;"><b><em>PERMUTATIONA(number, number-chosen)</em></b></p>
<p><em>where</em></p>
<p style="text-indent: 50px;"><b><em>number</em></b> is a number of items in the set, a numeric value greater than or equal to 0.</p>
<p style="text-indent: 50px;"><b><em>number-chosen</em></b> is a number of items in one permutation, a numeric value greater than or equal to 0 and less than <b><em>number</em></b>.</p>
<p>The numeric values can be entered manually or included into the cell you make reference to.</p>
<p>To apply the <b>PERMUTATIONA</b> function,</p>
<ol>
<li>select the cell where you wish to display the result,</li>

<li>click the <b>PERMUTATIONA</b> function,</li>
<li>enter the required arguments separating them by commas,</li>
<li>press the <b>Enter</b> button.</li>
</ol>
<p>The result will be displayed in the selected cell.</p>
