Rodrigo Dias Correa 2c424570e2 Fix mismatched function parameters (prototype/definition)
In GCC 11, parameters declared as arrays in function prototypes
cannot be declared as pointers in the function definition. The
same is true for the other way around.

The definition of `mbedtls_aes_cmac_prf_128` was changed to match
its public prototype in `cmac.h`. The type `output` was
`unsigned char *`, now is `unsigned char [16]`.

In `ssl_tls.c`, all the `ssl_calc_verify_*` variants now use pointers
for the output `hash` parameter. The array parameters were removed
because those functions must be compatible with the function pointer
`calc_verify` (defined in `ssl_internal.h`).

Bence Szépkúti 1e14827beb Update copyright notices to use Linux Foundation guidance
As a result, the copyright of contributors other than Arm is now
acknowledged, and the years of publishing are no longer tracked in the
source files.

Also remove the now-redundant lines declaring that the files are part of
MbedTLS.

Gilles Peskine db09ef6d22 Include common.h instead of config.h in library source files
In library source files, include "common.h", which takes care of
including "mbedtls/config.h" (or the alternative MBEDTLS_CONFIG_FILE)
and other things that are used throughout the library.

FROM=$'#if !defined(MBEDTLS_CONFIG_FILE)\n#include "mbedtls/config.h"\n#else\n#include MBEDTLS_CONFIG_FILE\n#endif' perl -i -0777 -pe 's~\Q$ENV{FROM}~#include "common.h"~' library/*.c 3rdparty/*/library/*.c scripts/data_files/error.fmt scripts/data_files/version_features.fmt

This commit removes all the static occurrencies of the function
mbedtls_zeroize() in each of the individual .c modules. Instead the
function has been moved to utils.h that is included in each of the
modules.

Hanno Becker 61937d4a83 Rename time and index parameter to avoid name conflict.
As noted in #557, several functions use 'index' resp. 'time'
as parameter names in their declaration and/or definition, causing name
conflicts with the functions in the C standard library of the same
name some compilers warn about.

This commit renames the arguments accordingly.

Brian J Murray 2adecba01f Clarify Comments and Fix Typos (#651)
Fixes many typos, and errors in comments.

* Clarifies many comments
* Grammar correction in config.pl help text
* Removed comment about MBEDTLS_X509_EXT_NS_CERT_TYPE.
* Comment typo fix (Dont => Don't)
* Comment typo fix (assure => ensure)
* Comment typo fix (byes => bytes)
* Added citation for quoted standard
* Comment typo fix (one complement => 1's complement)

The is some debate about whether to prefer "one's complement", "ones'
complement", or "1's complement". The more recent RFCs related to TLS
(RFC 6347, RFC 4347, etc) use " 1's complement", so I followed that
convention.

* Added missing ")" in comment
* Comment alignment
* Incorrect comment after #endif

Simon Butcher 327398ad3a Refactor and change CMAC interface
Change the CMAC interface to match the mbedtls_md_hmac_xxxx() interface. This
changes the overall design of the CMAC interface to make it more consistent with
the existing HMAC interface, and will allow incremental updates of input data
rather than requiring all data to be presented at once, which is what the
current interface requires.
