For the best compatibility, enable only the Pro Controller in the custom controller config. In addition, Docked Mode should also be enabled.
Asynchronous GPU is now partially compatible with this title, enabling better performance while in use. This option can be found under Emulation > Configure... > Graphics > Use asynchronous GPU emulation
.
Known Issues
-
Game speed seems to ignore the speed limiter on some/all systems with Asynchronous GPU enabled, even while using a Pro Controller config. This is potentially remedied by configuring Yuzu's process affinity to only make use of real CPU cores on AMD Ryzen systems. This workaround's effectiveness with Intel CPUs is currently unknown.
-
Controller seems to get ghost input on some runs (even with analog axis unmapped), restarting fixes it.
-
Keyboard instantly getting ghost input (if you don't have controller, use steam link touch control from phone)
-
Cutscreens do not play properly.
-
Shopkeepers in the overworld can cause various issues if they sing along with the game's music, causing it to skip around or be completely broken until the player moves to an area with a new song to reset it.
-
Shopkeepers inside dungeons can completely freeze the game.
Final Notes
- With the aforementioned Pro Controller, Async GPU, and process affinity fixes applied, this game runs very stable at a locked 60FPS on a Ryzen 5 2600 & GTX 1060-6GB test bench.
