Mario Kart 8 currently performs great in yuzu and is very stable with the game's latest update.

In order to have the best possible experience, please follow the instructions below:

• Dump and use your firmware-NAND and keys from your console following our quickstart guide. The firmware contains Mii data. Without it, the game crashes on boot.
• In Emulation-> Configure-> General, enable Multicore CPU Emulation for better performance.
• In the Controls configuration, use either the Pro Controller or Dual Joycons controller options.
• Install the latest update for the greatest stability.
• For local multiplayer, press L+R on the last player's controller on the title screen to start the game. For example, with 3 players, Player 3 would press L+R on the title screen. Use Player 1's controller to navigate through the rest of the menus.

Known issues:

• Local wireless/online play is not working as the necessary services are not implemented on yuzu.
• Crashes are more likely while playing the base game (1.0.0).
• Lighting issues may occur when using Vulkan as the renderer (seems to be mainly Mario Kart Stadium)
• Credits seem to be not appearing (when using Vulkan or OpenGL)
